Plympton Parish Pastoral Council
 

A pastoral council is a consultative body in the parish that serves to advise the parish priest about pastoral issues. The council's main purpose is to investigate, reflect and reach conclusions about pastoral matters to recommend to the parish priest as appropriate.

​

Positions on the Pastoral Council are by nomination and election every two years. The next election will be held in November 2020.

Plympton Parish Finance Council
 

The mission of the Finance Council is to support the Priest in his stewardship of parish resources. The Council is accountable to both the parish community and Archbishop.

 

This is a mandated body that has an advisory and consultative role with the Priest of the parish. There is currently positions available on this committee, if you are interested in joining please contact Chairperson Peter Clarke below to register your interest.

Plympton Parish Hospitality Committee
 

Plympton Parish Hospitality Committee are the group responsible for bringing the church together for social gatherings.

Whether it be, morning teas after mass, catering Parish functions or hosting the annual Parish luncheon, this group of enthusiastic Parishioners are the smiling faces to welcome new and old families.

 

They are always seeking volunteers, if you're interested in joining and getting to know more of the Parish please contact the head of the Hospitality Committee Pauline Smitheran below.
